Swine flu hits three Wimbledon players

THREE players at Wimbledon have caught swine flu, according to a report in London's Daily Mail .
They were named as Slovakian doubles players Michal Mertinak and Filip Polasek and American Travis Parrott.
All three are now out of the tournament, with Mertinak having withdrawn from the mixed doubles because he was unwell. Mertinak and Polasek shared a hotel room during the tournament, while Parrott was Polasek's doubles partners.
Despite the intimate nature of the facility with players eating and preparing for matches in close proximity, the All England Club maintained that swine flu did not put the tournament in jeopardy and that any cases reported so far were "entirely in line with the wider London community".
Earlier in the tournament, officials issued a warning to maintain hygiene standards and report any flu-like symptoms after several ball boys and girls had suspected swine flu. They were told to stay away from the tournament.
